UPCON 2020 becomes UPCONline 2021

3rd Conference on Properties, Design, and Applications of Upconversion Nanomaterials

April 6th – 9th, 2021


UPCONline 2021 will be a forum for discussing advances in the field of upconversion nanomaterials among researchers from academia and industry and for defining future trends in the field. The scientific sessions will include lectures by plenary, keynote, and invited speakers, as well as talks and poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts.

Labrox specialize in design, development and manufacturing of multimode plate reader platforms and point-of-care detection systems. Labrox Upcon reader is versatile tool for UCNP detection from microtiter plates or lateral flow strips.

Kaivogen Oy is a Finnish biotech company established in 2007. The kaivo in the company name is Finnish for the well of a microplate and relates to the company’s very first products, streptavidin coated plates. Since its start up with these products, Kaivogen has extended its portfolio year by year. Current products include a wide range of assay development services from kit manufacturing to custom plate production, custom biomolecule conjugation and custom buffer preparation. Eurotek International is an added value reseller and solution provider. Our main field of operation is  ► laser technology    optical measurements in spectroscopy and imaging ► system design and integration. Eurotek offers the multi modal spectroscopy system aimed at crystals, powders and nanoparticle studies. All accepted posters (and short poster movies in case you would like to submit one) MUST be sent to Niko Hildebrandt (niko.hildebrandt@univ-rouen.fr) by Friday, 2nd of April 2021.

If you want to send files that are larger than 10 MB: Please send them via a download-link (our e-mail server automaticaly rejects all e-mails with attachments that are larger than 10 MB).

Posters MUST be in pdf format (movies in any standard movie format) and named “FamilyName_Poster.pdf” (and “FamilyName_Movie.mov” depending on the format). An example would be “Hildebrandt_Poster.pdf”.

We will confirm all poster submissions shortly after reception (if you do not receive a confirmation, it means that something went wrong).


A submission before the conference is important because we need to upload the posters in a controlled and well-accessible manner on the website and that requires some time and organization.
