Labrox specialize in design, development and manufacturing of multimode plate reader platforms and point-of-care detection systems. Labrox Upcon reader is versatile tool for UCNP detection from microtiter plates or lateral flow strips.
Kaivogen Oy is a Finnish biotech company established in 2007. The kaivo in the company name is Finnish for the well of a microplate and relates to the company’s very first products, streptavidin coated plates. Since its start up with these products, Kaivogen has extended its portfolio year by year. Current products include a wide range of assay development services from kit manufacturing to custom plate production, custom biomolecule conjugation and custom buffer preparation. In addition, we provide various streptavidin and anti-species plates and buffer products as catalogue items. Also check out our Upcon® nanoparticle-based detection technology that is well suited for lateral flow applications. Kaivogen’s main customer group consists of IVD companies, for whom Kaivogen acts as an OEM manufacturer of components for IVD assays and kits. Other customer groups include research foundations and academic research groups. Around 90% of Kaivogen’s turnover each year comes from exported products, the main export destinations being the USA and the Nordic countries.
TTP is an independent technology company where people work at the intersection of science, engineering and business to invent and develop breakthrough products and technologies. Whether a start-up or a blue chip organisation, our clients partner with TTP to transform industries. With a 30-year history of innovation, our multidisciplinary teams are able to deliver across the scope of a project, from research through to concept, design, engineering and manufacture. Building on a long track-record in life science instrumentation, we routinely design systems capable of meeting demanding biological and physical hardware requirements. Understanding the interplay between the fundamental biology of a process and the physical behavior of a system is critical to successful development. We have extensive labs and fabrication facilities, including a bio-MEMS lab. This allows us to rapidly prototype, iterate and validate the biological and physical aspects of system design. Beyond prototyping we have the capacity to scale to pre-production and transfer to manufacture. TTP has also established advanced nanomaterial, sensors, surface chemistry and immunoassay capabilities, enabling the reagent development for high-sensitivity quantification and low non-specific interactions. With a deep understanding of molecular and cellular recognition, reaction mechanisms and detection chemistry, we develop cutting-edge methodologies for diagnostic systems and can rapidly develop novel biomarker detection scaffolds for improved diagnostics, immunoassays and research tools.

Lumito AB is a Swedish company focused on imaging for medical applications. The company was established in 2010 and is based in Lund, Sweden. Lumito is developing a new product line, including a slide scanner and UCNP-based staining kit, in the area of tissue diagnostics. With Lumito’s unique and patented technology, there are provisions to significantly improve the diagnostics for tissue samples through shorter analytical times and higher quality analysis. Lumito’s technology also provides completely new opportunities to search for multiple disease indications in the same tissue section and enables digital analysis and automatization. Primary market for Lumito is Europe followed by North America. Lumito is publicly listed on the NGM Nordic SME list.
Chemicals 101 Corp is pleased to join the many presenters and online attendees for UPCON 2021. Chemicals 101 is based in Toronto, Canada. We supply a growing number of Institutional Research Groups their key starting materials. Even though we specialize in Lanthanide starting materials, we have the ability to source a wide variety of other Inorganic chemical reagents. After the conference, let’s begin a dialogue to discuss how we can better serve your needs for your essential reagents. Please feel free to reach out to me at michael@chemicals101corp.com and visit our website www.chemicals101corp.com. Enjoy the conference!
Eurotek International is an added value reseller and solution provider. Our main field of operation is ► laser technology ► optical measurements in spectroscopy and imaging ► system design and integration. Eurotek offers the multi modal spectroscopy system aimed at crystals, powders and nanoparticle studies. Automated widely tunable source is used to measure down- and upcoversion spectra, lifetimes and quantum yields. PLI spectra with 0.01 nm accuracy can be measured in 210 to 2400 nm in one sweep, allowing for long- time measurement hands – off cycles, if needed. Data are on-line corrected for intensity variations and spectral instrument characteristics. Eurotek home-developed Raman spectroscopy setup can be used in such demanding applications like phase transitions in high pressure anvil cell or combined linear and hyper Raman study. High space resolution is assured by an achromatic design. All our systems are modular to accommodate various light sources, spectrographs and detectors.
